By downloading, installing, or using the SkiBuds mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
SkiBuds is a social networking application that allows users to:
You must be at least 18 years old to use SkiBuds. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. SkiBuds is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly permit users under 18 to create accounts, and we will terminate any account we learn belongs to a user under 18.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update this information as necessary.
You agree to use SkiBuds only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you create and share on SkiBuds. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.
All content must comply with our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
SkiBuds has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By using the App you agree that you will not post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable, and that you will not abuse other users.
We provide tools for every user to:
We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users and act on violations — including removing content and ejecting the offending user — within 24 hours.
We use automated content filtering and human review to moderate content. We may remove content or suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by SkiBuds and protected by intellectual property laws.

SkiBuds integrates with third-party services (Firebase, social login providers). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
Certain features require access to your device's location. You can control location permissions through your device settings. Some features may not function without location access.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
SkiBuds is not a safety application. Always follow ski resort rules, check conditions with resort staff, and ski responsibly. We are not responsible for skiing-related injuries or accidents.
We are not responsible for content posted by users or third parties.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKIBUDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SkiBuds and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SkiBuds regarding the App.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
We may assign these Terms without restriction. You may not assign your rights without our consent.
