The Lightning lift and lower learning areas serve the beginner zone. Catskill Thunder Gondola accesses other mountain terrain from Discovery, while the west-side map includes runs such as Deer Run and Dot Nebel. Match the lift and ticket access to your ability.

Choose Discovery or Overlook before coordinating your arrival. The official first-timer guide puts rentals and lesson check-in at Discovery, and some lesson products have lower-mountain access rather than an all-area ticket.
