Alpine Meadows
Alpine Meadows is the Alpine side of Palisades Tahoe, reached from Alpine Meadows Road near Highway 89. Its mountain identity is different from the Olympic Valley side: Summit terrain, open bowls and rolling groomers are central to an Alpine day.

Terrain and ability at Alpine
The official mountain guide describes Summit as a mix of bowls, steep faces and groomed runs. Scott and Lakeview add another part of the mountain to explore. Pick a zone from the current trail map rather than treating every lift as suitable for the same ability.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Use the Alpine base as your destination, not the Village in Olympic Valley. Check current parking arrangements and road conditions before leaving; the Base-to-Base Gondola connects the mountains when operating.
