Beginner access is available through appropriate learning locations, including California Lodge and the gondola side. The wider mountain has routes across both states. Check the current trail map and connections, and choose terrain that every member of a shared lap can manage.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Lessons and rentals have location-specific check-ins. Stagecoach is not interchangeable with the resort's ski-school starting points. Check current parking and shuttle information for your chosen base, and allow the additional ascent time if your lesson requires a gondola journey.

Include the full lodge or gondola-base name in your invitation. Plan to finish at the entrance where everyone began; mountain crossings depend on operating lifts and routes. If weather changes access, use an agreed base-area fallback rather than chasing friends across the state line.
