Terrain and ability at Killington

Snowshed is the primary learning area, with Ramshead providing progression routes. The wider mountain offers steeps and glades for more experienced skiers and riders. Use the current winter map to plan connections and keep a beginner's first lap separate from an expert itinerary.

Arrival, bases and lessons

Adult group, learn-to-ski and private lesson programs meet at Snowshed; youth groups and Ministars use Ramshead according to the visitor guide. Rental locations also differ. Confirm the latest instructions on your reservation and the operating lodge before choosing a parking area.

Plan a Killington meetup

Name the base lodge and the program when inviting friends. A K-1 meeting does not replace a Ramshead youth check-in. Allow time for fitting equipment, then arrange a reunion on terrain or at a lodge every participant can comfortably reach.
