Stratton has a main base beside its village and a distinct Sun Bowl base on the mountain's eastern side. The Sun Bowl provides lift access, rentals and guest services, while the main base hosts school meeting points. Choose a base around the day's booked activity.

Terrain and ability at Stratton
The lesson guide uses Village Walk and Villager as easier green terrain, with Mike's Way and Tamarack representing another progression step. Freestyle options range from smaller Tyrolienne features to larger East Byrnes Side builds. First-time skiing and terrain-park riding require different plans.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Teen and adult group lessons meet in front of the Mountain Sports School Building at the main base. A Sun Bowl parking choice may suit independent mountain laps, but confirm travel to the booked school location. Check the current winter map and parking instructions before arrival.

Use a main-base village landmark for a lesson group and a Sun Bowl lodge landmark for friends starting there. Agree on a later break before crossing lift zones, with enough time to return to the correct pickup base at the end of the day.
