Terrain and ability at Taos
Pioneer is a learning area, while moving farther up the mountain brings different challenges. The official guide stresses that trail ratings are relative to Taos and may feel different from other resorts. Use the school's ability guidance and current map before following experienced friends onto advanced terrain.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Taos Rentals is near Lift 1, but lesson and children's program check-in should follow the exact booking instructions. Collect tickets and gear before the on-snow meeting, and check the resort's winter arrival and road information before leaving the town of Taos.
