Mount Sunapee has a separate South Peak learning area beside its larger ski mountain. That mini-mountain layout gives new skiers and snowboarders a focused place to begin, while more experienced visitors can plan runs across the main lift-served terrain.

Terrain and ability at Sunapee
South Peak starts with magic carpets and progresses to the Clippership Quad and additional beginner terrain. Lessons help visitors move beyond those first slopes. A route from the main summit is a different undertaking, so choose it based on ability and the current map.
Arrival, bases and lessons
First-time and beginner lessons meet at the Adventure Center Rental Shop for direction, while other programs use their assigned Adventure Center meeting points. Follow the confirmation before heading to a main-mountain lift. Spruce Lodge, Sunapee Lodge and Summit Lodge are distinct reunion locations.

Use the learning-area check-in for first-timers and a named base lodge for a mixed group. Allow time for equipment fitting before the lesson. If experts ski the main mountain, arrange a base reunion so beginners can participate without leaving their comfortable learning terrain.
