Wisp Resort
Wisp is the ski and snowboard resort at Deep Creek Lake in western Maryland. Marsh Mountain's main ski terrain, the McHenry Lodge base and Sundown Village's learning facilities give groups several distinct places to begin a mountain day.

Terrain and ability at Wisp
Sundown Village brings the Learning Center together with beginner terrain and surface lifts. Its Sunset Boulevard and Easy Street trails support early progression. Riders moving to the wider mountain should choose current open routes together, rather than treating a beginner lesson as a plan for every trail.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Check the lesson booking for the Sundown Yurt Village Learning Center location. The Lodge at Wisp hotel connects to McHenry Lodge, but hotel arrival and snow-school check-in are different tasks. Reserve tickets, rentals and any tubing session through the resort's current booking instructions.
Plan a Wisp meetup
Use a public Sundown Village landmark when meeting lesson-taking friends, or specify McHenry Lodge for an equipped group. Set a later regroup if more experienced riders head farther up Marsh Mountain. Confirm whether everyone is skiing, snowboarding or tubing before choosing a shared session and meeting point.
