Jackson Hole Mountain Resort rises above Teton Village with the Aerial Tram, gondolas and extensive challenging terrain. It also has dedicated lower-mountain learning slopes, so a first visit does not need to begin with the steep terrain most often shown in expert ski films.

Terrain and ability at Jackson Hole Mountain
Teewinot and Eagle's Rest serve easier slopes. Casper and Après Vous provide groomed progression options before more demanding zones higher on the mountain. Select actual open trails for the group; a sightseeing tram ride is not a beginner ski itinerary.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Solitude Station is at the Sweetwater Gondola's mid-station and serves many Mountain Sports School groups, rentals and dining. Follow your specific lesson confirmation, since not every program starts in the same place. Allow for equipment collection and the gondola ride before check-in.
