Terrain and ability at Sun Valley
Dollar provides gentler beginner and intermediate slopes and progressive park areas. The resort describes River Run's lesson setting as suited to intermediate and advanced guests, with Warm Springs offering steeper terrain. A Dollar-only ticket is not valid for skiing Bald Mountain.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Dollar lesson check-in is inside the main entrance of Carol's Dollar Mountain Day Lodge on Elkhorn Road. Bald Mountain programs have separate starting points. Read the booking's mountain, rental location and ticket access before choosing parking or sending the meeting invitation.
