June Mountain
June Mountain is a family-oriented Eastern Sierra ski area on State Route 158 in June Lake. Its layout has an unusual first step: Chair J1 carries visitors from the lower parking and ticket area to June Meadows Chalet, the main on-mountain service hub.

Terrain and ability at June
The mountain offers wide routes and beginner-friendly terrain alongside more demanding skiing. Bucky's Playground and the Surprise Fun Zone near J2 provide freestyle progression features. Check the current trail map and lesson advice before deciding which higher lift suits your group.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Collect the relevant tickets and lesson vouchers at the lower office before taking J1. Rentals are at the Chalet, and lesson participants meet above rather than beside the parking lot. Non-skiing companions should check the scenic-access requirements for reaching that same hub.
Plan a June meetup
Specify either the lower ticket office or June Meadows Chalet, and include time for the J1 ascent. A Chalet meeting is not an arrival-at-the-car time. For families taking lessons, arrange the reunion around the booked program and the day's chair operating schedule.
