Terrain and ability at Mammoth
Main Lodge has dedicated Discovery learning terrain; Canyon has beginner progression around Schoolyard, while Eagle provides longer green routes. The mountain also offers steeps and substantial freestyle terrain. Connections between beginner areas can include more difficult runs, so check the progression map before crossing.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Lessons and rentals are specific to each base. The Village Gondola connects to Canyon, while the Panorama Gondola at Main Lodge has a different purpose and destination. Check lodge operations, parking and local transportation for your date rather than assuming every base opens together.
