Terrain and ability at Keystone

Dercum contains learning zones and longer green routes such as Schoolmarm. North Peak adds intermediate and advanced terrain; The Outback emphasizes trees and natural challenges. Bowl skiing, including Bergman and Erickson terrain, should be planned from the current map and open-lift report.

Arrival, bases and lessons

Match rentals and lesson check-in to River Run or Mountain House. Some learning activities require an ascent, so allow time beyond parking and ticket pickup. Review current access for your booking instead of assuming the closest lift is the correct meeting place.

Include the base name and a specific landmark in your invitation. Choose Dercum terrain appropriate to beginners for a shared first lap, then arrange separate routes if experts want the farther peaks. Leave enough time to return across the mountain before connecting lifts close.
