Timberline Lodge
Timberline combines a historic lodge, the Wy'East Day Lodge and skiing on Mount Hood. Winter terrain and summer snowfield skiing are different experiences, with lift openings tied to weather and snow. The mountain's height is not the same as the highest lift-served skiing point.

Terrain and ability at Timberline
Bruno's Chair supports learning access, and group-lesson tickets have specified terrain limits that include Summit Pass. The larger winter mountain has groomers, trees and parks. Summer skiing uses a different operating plan, so do not assume a winter lesson or full trail map is available year-round.
Arrival, bases and lessons
Adult lesson check-in is at the school front desk on the first floor of Wy'East Day Lodge, with rental fitting afterward. Kids Club has its own desk there. Use the current mountain report and winter driving instructions before traveling up from Government Camp.
Plan a Timberline meetup
Specify Wy'East Day Lodge or historic Timberline Lodge in the invitation. Meet near the school desk before rentals, then agree on a lodge break after the lesson. Friends visiting Summit Pass or summer terrain should confirm their own access and return arrangement.
